Statewide Water Quality Management Plan

The Colorado Statewide Water Quality Management Plan (SWQMP)’s Information Management System (IMS) was motivated by a need to communicate the SWQMP and expand accessibility to the previous report.

Further, it aims to provide data and information to develop regional management plans consistent with the SWQMP. The IMS serves the information for a region and does not generate plans but is a resource for planning agencies and similar stakeholders to leverage to better understand their watersheds.
