Hydrography
Hydrography information collected by the United States Geological Survey in the National Hydrography Dataset from The National Map is available for naturally occurring and constructed bodies of surface water (lakes, ponds, and reservoirs), paths through which water flows (canals, ditches, streams, and rivers), and related entities such as point features (springs, wells, stream gages, and dams).

Watershed Boundaries
Watershed boundary information collected by the United States Geological Survey in the National Watershed Boundary Dataset from The National Map is available. These layers define the perimeter of drainage areas or Hydrologic Unit (HU) polygon boundaries formed by the terrain and other landscape characteristics in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The drainage areas are nested within each other so that a large drainage area will be composed of multiple smaller drainage areas, with up to six different levels of hierarchy. These nested drainage regions are termed Regions, Subregions, Basins, Subbasins, Watersheds, and Subwatersheds and are denoted by Hydrologic Unit Codes (HUC) from 2 to 14 digits in length.
