Primary Menu

The Primary menu can be accessed after you login to eRAMS.  This menu will appear in the dark green section along the top of the account interface.  From the Primary menu registered users can manage private contents which are accessed from the left sidebar and includes options for managing:

• Contacts
• Documents
• Media (Photos/Video)
• Geographic data
• Projects

Account

All information by default are private and are not shared with user groups or the general public. However, the user can choose to share his/her personal contents with the general public or with a specific group (see “Groups” for more details on this feature).

Once you login to eRAMS, you will be directed to the account interface

• “Account” will be highlighted in light green on the Primary menu
• The dark green Primary menu displays notifications for information or action to be taken by the user in the upper right corner
• The platform defaults to the last accessed project as shown in the highlighted yellow tab on the left sidebar
• Enhance your profile and add a user image by clicking “Add Photo” in the upper right corner of the Home menu.  This will open pane for uploading an image to display in the upper right corner.

Contacts

Users can add and store contacts by selecting the “Contacts” tab from the left sidebar.  Add relevant contact information when prompted.

Documents & Media

To add documents, media or to display a list of currently available files, click the “Documents” or “Photos, Videos” tab on the left sidebar.  The table of contents can be sorted according to the name, type, date, or size documents.

• Folders: create folders to organize related documents.
  • Users can navigate between folders using the “Location” navigation toolbar located directly under the submenu
  • To move a document from one folder to another, navigate to the folder where the document/media is located, drag and drop the document to the folders in the “Location” navigation toolbar.
• Files: click “Add File” from the submenu to upload a local file.
  • Right click the filename to download, rename, email, delete and/or share the document/media
• Download: this options allows saving the document, media or folder on your local machine. When a folder is downloaded, all files/documents within the folder are downloaded as a zipped-file.
• File Sharing: To share a file with a URL, select “Email” from the submenu or right-click on the file, select email and enter an address to activate sharing.

Geographic Data

Geospatial information from eRAMS projects can be saved and organized in your private account.  See the “Projects” and “GIS” sections for more information.

To access geospatial layers:

1. Open the “Geographic Data” tab in the left sidebar
2. Click the Projects folder to display the list of the user’s projects.
3. Click on a project title to display a list of project layers (for reference only)

Projects

Projects are combinations of geospatial data, tables, and modeling tools. Projects can be private or shared with other registered account users to work in a collaborative environment.
