Mentor Research Proposal

Have an Idea?

CSU faculty interested in mentoring a trainee are encouraged to submit ideas using the form below. A consistent innovation across research projects is the integration of systems analysis tools with social and economic analyses. Transdisciplinary research projects that include systems-thinking to address FEWS issues are encouraged. Proposed research projects must identify interdisciplinary aspects and systems perspectives. Research proposals will be vetted by the leadership team to ensure their fit within the InTERFEWS program.

The InTERFEWS program is currently limited to Colorado State University PhD candidates entering the 1st or 2nd semester (in a few cases, 3rd semester) of their PhD program. Selected cohorts will include both funded and unfunded trainees. Funded trainees will be receive 2 years of funding. Mentors should identify a source of funding to support PhD students beyond the 2 year traineeship to degree completion.
