Purpose
To investigate the extent of air temperature (Ta) response to varying GI contexts (at spatial extents of 50-meters and at 10-meters), as well as interactions between greenness of the environment at those spatial extents.
Description
Hourly temperature at ~ 2 m above ground surface from shielded sensors placed in (1) street trees within GI features and (2) street trees outside GI features June-July 2017 and June-August 2018, within larger spatial context of high levels of greenness (as measured by NDVI) . Data were collected with Tidbit2 sensors in Portland, Oregon.
Attributes
Hourly temperature in degrees C, +/- 0.2 degrees C ( 16 sensors in 2017, 36 sensors in 2018)
